Collective Bargaining Day in Raleigh

From Saveourschools.ning.com:

Current NC law prohibits public employees from engaging in collective bargaining. Two bills in the legislature would remove that prohibition (HB 750 and SB 427). The NC HOPE coalition, of which NCAE is a member, will be in Raleigh next Tuesday to lobby for these two bills.

Collective Bargaining Day is set for Tuesday, May 26th.

Training/Orientation at 9:00 AM, NC State Archives Auditorium

Rally at 10:00 AM in Bicentennial Plaza

If you are able to attend, please email Susan Kane (Susan.Kane@NCAE.org).
