Our local affiliate is more than 300 members strong!
We are administrators, teachers, education support professionals, and retirees.
CCAE is a local affiliate of NCAE and NEA.
Our purpose is to:
promote the professional improvement of our members
promote professional attitudes and ethical conduct among educators
work for the welfare of school children and the advancement of public education
encourage members to exercise their rights and privileges as citizens and to provide leadership in civic affairs
promote the protection and welfare of our members
develop solidarity and loyalty in our profession

Each school has an Association Representative. He/she can help answer your questions, distribute CCAE and NCAE materials to you, and assist you with your membership needs.
Membership
Any person actively engaged in any branch of educational work in the Chatham County admininstrative unit may become a member our Association by payment of local, state, and national membership dues.
